The mass media in Greece tried to hide the amount of people that participated in the demonstration and the riots in WED.31/7/2019.
“No Justice, No Peace” was the absolute essence of the protest -that few hours later turned into a fierce riot- on Wednesday 31 July 2019 at Exarchia in Athens, following the news on the previous day that E. Korkoneas, the policeman who shot and murdered 15 years old Alexis Grigoropoulos in Athens, Greece on 6 December 2008, was released out of prison after 10 years. The release of Epaminondas Korkoneas came after a court on Monday 29 July 2019 reduced his term from life imprisonment for premeditated murder to just 10 years, on the sole basis of good previous behavior.
The struggle for social justice continues. We will not allow police killing people in the streets of our cities.

Τετάρτη 31 Ιούλη 2019, Συγκέντρωση – πορεία διαμαρτυρίας στα Εξάρχεια (στο σημείο της δολοφονίας) ενάντια στην ποινή – χάδι στον αστυνομικό – δολοφόνο του Αλέξη Γρηγορόπουλου, Επαμεινώνδα Κορκονέα και την αθώωση του αστυνομικού συνεργού του, Βασίλη Σαραλιώτη.
Ο αγώνας για κοινωνική δικαιοσύνη συνεχίζεται. Δεν θα επιτρέψουμε στην αστυνομία να δολοφονεί ανθρώπους στους δρόμους της πολης μας!
